An Hour in the Deep Magazine Cover Digital Illustration and Design

An Hour in the Deep is an e-magazine dedicated to promoting ocean conservation through youth eco-journalism. I worked directly with Sruthi Gurudev, a National Geographic Young Explorer, ocean conservationist, aspiring eco journalist, and editor-in-chief of An Hour in the Deep, to create the magazine's first edition cover. I portrayed the otherworldly beauty of the ocean through a watercolor-inspired illustration of a diver in a kelp forest made in Photoshop.
